About Me

I’ve worked in on premise wine sales in Ottawa/Eastern Ontario since 2022, building on a career in restaurants that started when I was a teenager and eventually led me to become a sommelier and wine buyer.

My years working in restaurants are a huge part of how I approach wine sales. I understand what it’s like to build a wine list, work with a budget, read a room and figure out what guests actually want to drink. I definitely don’t do pushy. You know your guests best. I like sending regular updates, dropping off corkscrews, and offering staff trainings on your BTG pours.

I am constantly tasting, studying, and looking for opportunities to keep learning about wine. I’ve completed WSET 3, CMS Intro, Certified Specialist of Wine, Italian Wine Scholar with WSG, and Italian Wine Ambassador with Vinitaly International Academy, along with many regional trade certifications (California, Rioja, Champagne, & more). I love to get to know my colleagues in the wine industry and order for my home personally, so if I don’t represent a producer you’re looking for, there’s a good chance I have the right person’s number.

Outside of wine, you can find me spending time with my family. I am very passionate about building a career in wine while also being a mum to my daughter. I love meeting other women in wine and hospitality, or who are looking to get into the industry, and help make interesting connections. I am also a part-time Pilates instructor in the very early mornings. I place a huge focus on fitness in my personal time which has been key to balancing my career in a wonderfully indulgent industry.
